THE PLOT:

The late sixties and a group of friends mourn the loss of one of their own, taken in the prime of life. They investigate and find the cause if a monster clown named Pennywise. Pennywise is stalking them one by one. But the bound of friendship allows them overcome the fear and send Pennywise packing.

The year is now 1990 and the friends are once again terrorized by Pennywise, one is murdered and the others are next on the list, but has being apart for so long weakened their bound and can they escape the Wrath of Pennywise?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I liked this story, I think the cast is great. Including Tim Curry, marvelous actor from many movies. Plus, Harry Anderson of Night Court fame, Annette O'Toole (Smallville), Tim Reid (WKRP in Cincinnati), John Ritter (Three's Company and 8 Simple Rules for Dating my teenage daughter.) and Richard Thomas (Waltons). Plus newcomers Jonathan Brandis (Seaquest) and Seth Green (Buffy, The Vampire Slayer and Family Guy). A great story, killer clown monsters always work and Pennywise's true form is even scarier then his clown form. I find it cool and watchable over and over again. A must for any fans of the actors above. I give IT, 9 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I liked this as well. I found it very cool, however it at over three hours it does get alittle on the long side. But what's perfect. I agree with Zedd on everything he said, a great cast. Impressive effects for the time and a cool premise. I give it...7 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ STORY (A good creepy, scary story for a stormy Halloween night.)
+ CAST (Some of TV's greatest actors together in one flick.)
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (Pennywise in monster form is sooo cool!)
+ TIM CURRY (Great as the hero or villian, a great talent in whatever he's in.)

AND FINALLY...

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)

- LONG (At over three hours long, it gets kind of long.)
