Harry starts finding clues that his brother Charles and the other people who died in the area is connected and investigates the crimes with the local pub owner. But will end up being their undoing?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I got to admit the creature effects could have been better, but keeping in mind it was 1966 compinsates for that. Also, I do like the other effects. Some forms of snake vemon do make the area around the wound turn black, like it's rotting. That's true, the story works, the cast does a great job. A little bit of a mystery. All and all a great HAMMER classic. I give it...7 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd on this one. The Reptile is a classic and interesting. A bit draggy at points and I would have liked to seen more of the Reptile. But that's just me. I too give THE REPTILE...7 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ MAKE UP EFFECTS (The poison around the black marks are very realistic.)
+ CAST (The cast did a great job.)
+ STORY (We both liked the story.)
+ MURDER MYSTERY (Who is the REPTILE and What caused this creature to be?)
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (Allthough far from perfect, but still impressive.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)

- CREATURE EFFECTS (Not perfect, I wish the eyes moved more.)
- SLOW (It's very slow at points.)

AND FINALLY...

- NOT ENOUGH REPTILE (VOLTRON would have liked to have seen more of the Reptile earlier in the film.)
